WILLIAM PICKERING SIGNED TIME MAG COVER, "W. H. Pickering", in black ink, July 23, 1965, honoring Pickering's Mariner projects, by space pioneer who directed the Jet Propulsion Lab, which developed the first U.S. satellite (Explorer 1, 1958), as well as the Mariner flights to Venus (Marnier 2, 1962) and Mars (Marnier 4, 1965). Two horizontal folds, a few creases and a mailing label to lower left, otherwise fine condition.
