SIR WILLIAM RAMSAY (1852-1916) HANDWRITTEN QUOTE SIGNED “William Ramsay”, on a 4.25 x 2 card, by the English professor of Chemistry and 1904 Nobel Prize winner for his discovery of the noble (inert) gases helium, neon, argon, krypton and xenon. And who earlier, in 1894, together with Lord Rayleigh (1842-1919) discovered the rare gas argon. Ramsay was also the only man to discover a complete Periodic Group of elements.
