SIR JOHN BLAND-SUTTON (1855-1936) SIGNED QUOTE, “John Bland-Sutton”, on a card 4.25 x 3.5, by the British surgeon who specialized in pelvic operations on women and was President of the Royal Society of Medicine (1920-22) and President of Royal College of Surgeons of England (1923-25). His handwritten quote, in full: “Fate has arranged things for me better than I could have arranged them for myself.” The card is in fine condition, with minor age toning.
