Sandra Day O'Connor Extremely Rare Handwritten Letter Signed, "Sincerely, Sandra O'Connor", one page on a 5 x 3.5 Supreme Court card, no date. Letter to "Karin," in full: "I cannot anticipate which legal question will be the one which will be the most important to me.", by the American attorney, politician, and jurist who served as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1981 until her retirement in 2006. She was the first woman to serve on the Court. In 2018 she announced that she had been diagnosed with the first stages of dementia and was withdrawing from public life. Very few handwritten letters by her have appeared on the market and this one has an especially nice content. In fine condition.
