$125.00

Description

Description

Polykarp Kusch (1911-93) Signed Ensemble, "P. Kusch, March 7, 1960", bold black ink, on a 4.25 x 2.5 slip, enclosed in a protective cellophane envelope and mounted on an original collector's display sheet, 8.5 x 10, with a short biographical note printed at the top, by the German-born American physicist. In 1955, the Nobel Committee gave a divided Nobel Prize for Physics, with one half to going to Kusch for his accurate determination that the magnetic moment of the electron was greater than its theoretical value, thus leading to reconsideration of—and innovations in—quantum electrodynamics. This attractive, signed collector's ensemble is in fine condition and ready for display.
