SIR MORELL MACKENZIE (1837-92) SIGNED CARD, “Yours truly, Morell Mackinzie”, on a card 4 x 3, by the British physician who was a pioneer in laryngology and a specialist in the diseases of the throat. His reputation grew with the publication of three important books, which became the founding stones of the new specialty of laryngology. He was one of the founders of the Journal of Laryogology and of the British Rhino-Larynogological Association in 1887. He is also remembered for his role in the international controversy over the death of Emperor Frederick III. His partly printed card is in fine condition, with minor age toning.
