Tobin", 3 x 2, signed above the gold embossed "The Secretary of Labor", by the Mayor of Boston (1938-45), Massachusetts, the Governor of Massachusetts (1945-47), and United States Secretary of Labor. He was a Democrat and a liberal who supported the New Deal and Fair Deal programs, and was outspoken in his support for labor unions. In fine condition.
