Mary Simmerson Cunningham Logan (August 15, 1838 - February 22, 1923) was an American abolitionist, writer and editor. She was the wife of U.S. Congressman and Civil War General John A. Logan.

Upon receiving a slave in 1855 as a wedding gift, Mary Logan granted the slave her freedom. This experience strengthened her position against slavery. With this education in politics and philosophy on slavery, she played a prominent role in her husband’s political decisions. She often took part in debates with other politicians who recognized and respected her opinions.
