Louis Untermeyer (1885-1977) was an American poet, anthologist, critic, and editor. He was appointed the fourteenth Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress in 1961. Louis Untermeyer was the author or editor of close to 100 books, from 1911 until his death.
