LOUIS CHARLES JOSEPH BLERIOT (1872-1936) SIGNED CARD, “Complements/L. Bleriot”, on a card 3 x 2.75, date 8.3.15 in another hand, by the French aviator, inventor, engineer, who developed the first practical headlamp for cars and established a profitable business manufacturing them, using much of the money he made to finance his attempts to build a successful aircraft. Bleriot was also the first to make a working, powered, piloted, monoplane and in 1909 became world-famous for making the first airplane flight across the English Channel. He was also the founder of Bleriot Areonautique, a successful aircraft manufacturing company. In fine condition, with minor age toning.
