LANGSTON HUGHES (1902-67) renouned negro novelist, poet, social activist and playwright who is best know as a leader of the Harlem Renaissance in New York City, which was a cultural, social, and artistic explosion that took place in Harlem, NY in the 1920's. In this signed copy of his autobiography Langston Hughes recounts those memorable years in the two great playgrounds of the decade - Harlem and Paris.
