John Newton Mitchell (1913-88) Typed Letter Signed, 7.25 x 10.25, letter thanking a United States Attorney at the U. S. Department of Justice for his kind remarks, April 13, 1972, was the 67th Attorney General of the United States under President Richard Nixon and a convicted criminal.
