JOHN ATKINSON (1835-97) SIGNED SLIP, "I am yours affectionately, John Atkinson", 4.25 x 1.5, by American Methodist clergyman who wrote the hymn known worldwide: "We Shall Meet Beyond the River" (1867). Mounted on piece of album page, with some stains upper right and bottom right edge,  mounting remnants on back, but otherwise in fine condition.
