James J. Hines (1903 – 1986) was an American professional golfer. He won nine times on the PGA Tour and was selected to the 1939 Ryder Cup team but the event was cancelled due to WWII. On the 13th hole at the 1938 PGA tournament, his chip shot hit opponent Sam Snead's ball, sending both into the cup. A birdie two was awarded to both players, who were tied at that point. Snead wound up beating Hines by one stroke.
Richard Bernice "Pete" Cooper (1914 – 1993) was an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour in the 1940s and 1950s; he was best known for winning the 1976 PGA Seniors' Championship.
Melvin R. "Chick" Harbert (1915 – 1992) was an American professional golfer. Harbert won seven times on the PGA Tour, including one major championship, the 1954 Championship, then a match play event. A three-time finalist, he was also that event's runner-up twice, in 1947 and 1952. Harbert was one of the great PGA Championship match play competitors
George Schneiter was a professional golfer and a member of the PGA for 50 years. He developed and owned Lake Hills golf course in Billings, Montana and Schneiter's Pebble Brook in Sandy, Utah. He played the PGA tour and the senior tour for many years.
