JAN PEERCE SIGNED PROGRAM COVER PAGE, "Jan Peerce", 6 x 9, in pencil, of operatic tenor with the Metropolitan Opera.  This is the first page of "The Civic Music Association Presents Jan Peerce, Tenor" program that has a couple of creases along the bottom edge and one tiny tear at bottom, otherwise in fine condition.

Jan Peerce (1904 –1984) was an American operatic tenor.  Peerce was an accomplished performer on the operatic and Broadway concert stages, in solo recitals and as a recording artist. He made many recordings and performances under Arturo Toscanini and the NBC Symphony Orchestra in the late 1930's and then made his debut with the Metropolitan Opera in 1941 and remained on the rooster until 1966. In 1971 he made his Broadway debut in Fiddler on the Roof
