Jan Peerce (1904 –1984) was an American operatic tenor. Peerce was an accomplished performer on the operatic and Broadway concert stages, in solo recitals and as a recording artist. He made many recordings and performances under Arturo Toscanini and the NBC Symphony Orchestra in the late 1930's and then made his debut with the Metropolitan Opera in 1941 and remained on the rooster until 1966. In 1971 he made his Broadway debut in Fiddler on the Roof.
