Harold C. Lloyd (1893-1971) endorsed check,"H. C. Lloyd" on verso, in ink, 8½x3¼, Rolin Film Co., Los Angeles, California, June 26, 1915, payable to Lloyd for fifty dollars. Lloyd, who was known as the "Man of the Clock" for his daring stunt in Safety Last(1923), began his film career in 1912 and never used stunt-doubles for exceptionally brave stunts that belied his be-spectacled, timid appearance. This is simply an amazing signed, 13 x 23, Harold Lloyd presentation. Normal bank stamps and cancellation holes, none of which touch the signature. Fold lines and age toning, otherwise in fine condition.
