Frederick Chapman Robbins (1916-2003) Signed LETTER, "F. C. Robbins", 7 X 10, on Case Western Reserve University personal letterhead as Dean of School of Medicine, May 12, 1971, sending his autograph, by the American pediatrician and virologist. He received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1954 along with John Franklin Enders and Thomas Huckle Weller. The award was for breakthrough work in isolating and growing the polio virus in tissue culture, paving the way for polio vaccines. In fine condition, with paper clip impression at top.
