Kriegsmann and General Artists Corporation photograph, by the American pianist and bandleader. As a very popular bandleader in the 1940s and 1950s, Carle was nicknamed "The Wizard of the Keyboard". James J. Kriegsmann (1909-94) was a celebrity and theatrical photographer who worked from 1929 to the early 1960s. In fine condition, with a couple of minor hard to see creases and small marginal tear at top.
