DAVID HAYES AGNEW (1818-92) SIGNED CARD, “Yours truly, D. Hayes Agnew”, on a card 3.75 x 1.75, by the American surgeon who was chief consulting surgeon when President James A. Garfield was shot. He was Demonstrator of Anatomy at University of Pennsylvania for many years. He wrote The Principles and Practices of Surgery a three volume set that covered his life-work over 50 active years. The card is boldly signed and is in fine condition.
