Shake", 6.25 x 2.75, July 22, 1970, the check is completed in his hand, by the presiding judge in the Nuremberg Tribunal which tried the IG Farben collaborators who were allied with the Nazi's and manufactured the Zyklon B gas used in the Holocaust. In fine condition.
Curtis G. Shake (1887-1978) was a Indiana jurist and politician noted for his service as an Indiana Supreme Court judge (1938–45) and as the presiding judge of the tribunal that heard the IG Farben case in Nuremberg, Germany, in 1947–48, the sixth of the twelve trials for war crimes. IG Farben was the private German chemicals company allied with the Nazis that manufactured the Zyklon B gas used to commit genocide against millions of European Jews in the Holocaust.
