ANSEL ADAMS (1902-1984) HAND-SIGNED PHOTO LITHOGRAPH OF “MOONRISE, HERNANDEZ, NEW MEXICO”, c. 1941, "Ansel Adams, Carmel, 11-14-83", 7 x 5, B/W, photo lithograph of one of his most celebrated black and white landscape images of the American West, taken late in the afternoon, on Halloween, that captures the intense, emotional response he experienced watching the rising moon illuminate the small town of Hernandez, New Mexico. It is boldly hand-signed and dated on the reverse by the photographer and environmentalist. It is a stunning photograph by an American master and is in fine condition.
